GIB celebrates Bahrain National Day

Manama, Dec. 17 (BNA): Gulf International Bank (GIB) today announced the holding of a special celebration at its Manama headquarters for employees marking Bahrain National Day. In line with the bank’s commitment to supporting development in the Kingdom, particularly economic growth, the bank invited founders of a number of Bahraini SMEs to take part in the celebrations including giving them the opportunity to present their projects and businesses to Bank staff. The celebrations also included a breakfast for the employees, who enjoyed a folk dance reflecting genuine Bahraini culture. Tokens highlighting GIB's interest in the environment were also distributed among the participants. Addressing attendees at the event, GIB’s Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Abdulaziz Abdulrahman Al-Helaissi, extended his congratulations on this auspicious occasion , which marks the creation of Bahrain as a modern state, highlighting the cultural dimensions of the National Day in terms of the Kingdom’s sovereignty and its strong international presence, which are routed in the Kingdom’s great national achievements in all areas and which have been realised under the direction and guidance of its wise leadership.
