'Government keen to follow up on citizens' needs in towns, villages'

Manama, May 8 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa has affirmed the government’s keenness on following up closely on the needs of citizens across the kingdom’s towns and villages regarding facilities and services.  HRH the Prime Minister stressed that all regions in the kingdom are witnessing an unprecedented urban and modernisation progress in various fields, including health, education, housing, roads, infrastructure, and others. "The development process led by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa has no limits. It aims to ensure that the people of Bahrain enjoy the highest levels of well-being and prosperity. Many achievements and gains have been attained, and tremendous efforts are being exerted with all determination and resolve to ensure a more prosperous present and future," he said.  The Prime Minister asserted that the government, in its plans and strategies, focuses on expediting the implementation of projects in various regions, and ensuring the provision of the highest levels of quality services to meet the citizens’ aspirations in this regard. HRH Premier made the statements while receiving, at the Gudaibiya Palace today, Royal Family members and senior state officials, with whom he reviewed topics of national interest. The Prime Minister congratulated the audience on the near advent of the holy month of Ramadan, praying Allah the Almighty to bless Bahrain and its people, as well as the Arab and Muslim nation with good and peace during the holy month. HRH Premier highlighted the government’s strenuous efforts to ensure the progress of the nation and the well-being of the citizens.  "What we are doing for the nation and its people is our duty, and our ambitions in this regard are boundless. Our ultimate goal is to reach the highest levels of progress and development, and we are confident that this will be achieved. Our people is highly aware and is dedicated in serving the homeland," the Premier said." HRH Premier stressed that Bahrain boasts a deep-rooted rich heritage that has to be documented and instilled in the minds of youngsters and youth, recalling the shooting sport of which the citizens of Bahrain have been known for so long.
