Governor directs promoting security, safety in camping areas

Manama, Nov. 28 (BNA): Southern Governor HH Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali Al Khalifa, during chairing the weekly security meeting, stressed the need to develop plans to promote security and safety in camping areas.  The governor directed the representative of the General Directorate of Civil Defense to raise campers’ awareness on complying with camping safety instructions and ways to deal with fires. He also directed to provide clear directions signs leading to emergency exits in camping areas.  He underlined the need to firmly deal with cases of assaults and thefts in Riffa, as well as reinforcing security plans for the protection of citizens and residents’ interests and safety.
