Govt forces arrest key drug dealer

LOP BURI, Feb 26 (TNA) -- Police and army personnel, in joint operation, apprehended more than 10 addicts and dealers in the central province of Lop Buri. More than 50 combined government forces first searched houses in two villages in the province after receiving a tip-off. They arrested more than 10 addicts of methamphetamine pills and two dealers with hundreds of the meth pills, officials said. They later searched another village and apprehended a key drug dealer identified as ‘Tor Pratuchai’ with almost 200 meth pills allegedly in his possession from his house which is installed with closed-circuit televisions, they said. Notorious ‘Tor Pratuchai’ managed to escape arrest about 10 times in the past, officials added. Government forces have achieved considerable success in busting drug dealers in the country in the past few months during their ongoing campaign against the illicit drugs. (TNA)
