Govt to mark one year of late King’s passing
BANGKOK, Oct 6 (TNA) – The government is scheduled to hold the merit making ceremony to mark one year of the passing of His Majesty late King Bhumibol Adulyadej on Oct 13.
Permanent Secretary for the Prime Minister’s Office, Patcharaporn Intreyonk on Thursday told a meeting of heads of government agencies that the merit making ceremony will be held at Government House.
Prime Minister Gen Prayut Chan-o-cha will lead the cabinet members and officials to give alms to 89 monks at 7am.
Government agencies, interested in holding the merit making ceremony are advised to do the similar activity at same time, the permanent secretary said.
In late afternoon, people are invited to join the mass prayers for the late King at the same across the country. The prayer, dedicated for the late King can be downloaded on the internet. (TNA)
