GPIC Chairman honoured

Manama, March 23 (BNA): Board Chairman of the Gulf Petrochemical Industries Company (GPIC) Dr. Abdulrahman Jawaheri received the Excellence in Training Award from Bahrain Society for Training and Human Resources Development (BSTD). The honour was conferred on him on the sidelines of the 45th conference of the International Federation of Training and Development Organisations which was hosted by Bahrain from March 21 to 23 under the auspices of His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa. Dr. Al Jawaheri took pride in the award, stressing that the honour is a recognition of the company's commitment to training and developing its human resources in order to boost competence, profitability and productivity while cutting down expenditure to achieve the aspired balance. He also stressed the great importance accorded to the company's personnel, being its real asset, by providing them with the needed experience and training.
