GPIC Ladies' Committee distributes school bags

Manama, Sep. 26 (BNA): Members of the Working Ladies Committee of the Gulf Petrochemical Industries Company (GPIC) distributed school bags to children of Bahrain’s Public Schools as part of the Company’s policy to serve the community. GPIC President Dr. Abdulrahman Jawahery thanked the Chairperson and members of the Committee for the humanitarian initiative, which, he said, underlines the close close cooperation between the Company and educational institutions as well as charity societies. He praised the important role played by the members of the Committee in their their social and charitable activities and stressed the Company's keenness to build bridges of cooperation and communication as well as provide necessary support to all groups. Dr. Jawahery said the Company Management, under the guidance of the Board of Directors, provides all support for any charity project that serves the community. He said the support is an integral part of annual social partnership programmes. School administrators thanked the Committee and appreciated the support of the Management for the gesture, stressing this would provide students with an important element of their school needs.
