GWS organises Best Voluntary Project Contest

Manama, Aug. 14 (BNA): As part of the sixth annual version of Isa bin Ali Voluntary Work Award's activities, the Good Word Society (GWS) will organize the second version of Bahrain's Best Voluntary Project contest in September. The event will be organised by the GWS in association with the Arab Volunteers' Federation, with the participation of 19 teams. The participants will showcase their projects during a special ceremony on September 3. The winners will be named by a special panel of experts, academicians and volunteers according to specific selection criteria. The top three winners will be honoured on September 20. The elimination and arbitration stage for voluntary projects will provide a good opportunity to attract the interested public and youths seeking for volunteering opportunities, according to Dalal AlFhaid the head of the Award's Media Committee.
