GWS's honorary president receives Emirati businessman

Manama, Sept. 15 (BNA): The Good Word Society (GWS)'s honorary president His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Ali Al Khalifa received Emirati businessman Khalaf Al Habtoor one of the winners of "Isa bin Ali Al Khalifa Award", who presented to His Highness a copy of his autobiography. Welcoming the Emirati guest, His Highness congratulated him on winning the award as part of a select group of Arab personalities. The award is being organised by the Good Word Society in cooperation with the Arab Voluntary Work Union between September 14 and 16. Al Habtoor was honoured by the American University in Sharjah (2011), the United Nations for his support to the Palestinian cause (2011), the Red Crescent (2012) for humanitarian work, and also received other international awards.
