HAI begins providing cold drinking water programme in Al Aqsa Mosque

JERUSALEM, 8th July, 2015 (WAM) -- The Humanitarian Appeal International (HAI) has started the implementation of the “Providing Cold Drinking Water Programme" to worshippers and people fasting at Al-Aqsa Mosque. Since the beginning of Ramadan, HAI's teams have been distributing water bottles to worshipers and people fasting in Al-Aqsa Mosque, especially for those who came from other Palestinian Governorates. Ibrahim Rashid, Director of the Human Appeal International Office in the West Bank said the authority provides cold and clean drinking water to the people fasting during the holy month of Ramadan in Al-Aqsa Mosque which embodies its stature in the hearts of the Arabs and Muslims, particularly in the hearts of the UAE's leadership and people. He added that HAI has allocated Dh 500,000 to purchase half a million water bottles in refrigerated trucks from the Palestinian land to be distributed to people fasting in Al-Aqsa Mosque.
