Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum Award winners honoured

Manama, Mar. 29 (BNA): Education Minister Dr. Majid bin Ali Al Nuaimi received the winners of the sixteenth edition of Hamadan bin Rashid Al Maktoum Excellent Educational Performance Award.
The Kingdom of Bahrain has won full share awards in all categories for the first time in the history of its participation in the award as Hassan bin Thabit Primary Boys School and Umm Ayman Primary Girls School won the excellence in educational performance award. Teacher Bader Sameer from Riffa Secondary Boys School and teacher Hanan Marhoun from Yathrib Intermediate Girls School won in the category of excellent teachers.
Also, student Anas Fathi from Riffa Secondary Boys School and student Jinan Al Ajaimi from Khawla Secondary Girls School won in the category of excellent students.
On this occasion, the minister lauded the Hamadan bin Rashid Al Maktoum Excellent Educational Performance Award, and congratulated the winners commending their outstanding performance and huge efforts, stressing the ministry's keenness on provision of opportunity for all schools to participate in educational contests abroad to showcase the Kingdom of Bahrain's attained level of excellent educational performance under the National Education and Training Development Project and School Performance Improvement Programme.
It is worth mentioning that the Hamadan bin Rashid Al Maktoum Excellent Educational Performance Award aims to advance serious, creative and efficient educational performance and encourages the spirit of initiative, innovation, excellence in all scientific and literary fields through the provision of advanced, modern teaching/learning conditions and environment and also encourages innovation, leadership and excellence.
Student Services Directorate's general director Jassim Mohammed Bin Hrban, the Award's national coordinator Nadia Sayyadi, and the heads of arbitration panels Jamal Awawdeh, Khalid Al Saeedi and Halahel Nasseef were also present during the audience.
