HE Deputy Speaker of Algerian People’s National Assembly to QNA: Under the leadership of HH the Amir, Qatar is Safety Valve of Arab Nation

Algiers, November 01 (QNA) - HE Deputy Speaker of the People’s National Assembly of Algeria Monder Bouden affirmed that the State of Qatar, under the leadership of HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani, is the safety valve of the Arab nation through its well-known positions in support of Arab reunification and stability in the region, and through its multiple initiatives for conflicts resolution and peace building. In an interview with Qatar News Agency (QNA), His Excellency stated that the State of Qatar affirmed, in the various stages that the region has gone through, that it is the strong supporter of Arab rights, and this is clear in its absolute support for the nation's causes, especially the Palestinian cause, which is consistent with the Algerian position on this issue, noting at the same time, the various Qatari initiatives to resolve conflicts in the region and the world. HE Monder Bouden affirmed that the participation of HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani in the 31st Ordinary Arab Summit in Algeria reflects His Highness' approach to promoting the spirit of brotherhood and Arab solidarity in facing challenges, and his keenness to support the success of the Algeria Summit, which Algerians in particular and Arabs in general hope will be a milestone in the history of Arab summits. His Excellency valued Qatar's support for the "Algeria Declaration" for Palestinian reconciliation, which crowned the efforts of the Algerian presidency over months to achieve Palestinian unification, stating that the State of Qatar was at the forefront in appreciating the step taken by Algeria towards the Palestinian cause by bringing together the various factions, which means a lot to the Algerian government and people. He added that the Qatari stance, which supports and welcomes Algeria's efforts to achieve Palestinian reconciliation, is conclusive evidence that the Algerian-Qatari coordination has taken on new dimensions, but it always remains in the interest of the entire Arab nation, and their stance on the Palestinian issue is a firm and uncompromising stance. In a related context, HE Deputy Speaker of the People’s National Assembly of Algeria affirmed that the Algerian parliamentary diplomacy is striving hard to intensify cooperation with its Qatari counterpart with the aim of exchanging expertise and experience in parliamentary work, pointing out, in this context, to the establishment of the Qatari-Algerian Parliamentary Friendship Group in the People's National Assembly, a group that is highly relied upon to push forward cooperation in various fields between the two countries. He explained that the two sides are constantly coordinating in various regional and international forums, the most recent of which was the meetings of the 145th Assembly of the Inter-Parliamentary Union, praising in this context the great role played by the Qatari Shura Council delegation during those meetings in coordinating the positions of Arab and Islamic countries on many issues of concern to Arabs and Muslims which was on the agenda of the meetings. His Excellency affirmed that the Qatari Shura Council plays an effective and successful role at the international level, adding that the successes of the Qatari Shura Council are no longer strange, after it established its position in the international arena, and gained global confidence, manifested in its hosting of regional and international forums, including the 140th Assembly of the Inter-Parliamentary Union and its accompanying meetings, as well as Doha's hosting of UNOCT Program Office on Parliamentary Engagement in Preventing and Countering Terrorism, which is an important Arab achievement. In his interview with QNA, HE Deputy Speaker of the People’s National Assembly of Algeria stressed that every successful Arab experience gives hope and creates opportunities for the rest of the Arab countries to realize achievements in various fields, adding that we must benefit from the experience of the State of Qatar, which has achieved impressive successes in a short period and has become a radiant center in the fields of politics, economy, energy, sports and media. It is an experience that became a model for all Arabs, thanks to the wisdom of its leadership, represented by HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani, HE said. Regarding his country's hosting of the Arab Summit in its 31st session, HE Deputy Speaker of the People’s National Assembly of Algeria Monder Bouden confirmed that the importance of this session lies in the diversity of files that will be reviewed by Arab leaders, especially the economic, political and security issues, stating that signs of success appeared even before the summit, thanks to the active Algerian diplomacy over the past months. He considered that the meeting of Arab leaders at Algeria summit is a success in itself. At the end of his speech to QNA, HE Deputy Speaker of the People’s National Assembly of Algeria Monder Bouden affirmed that Qatar's hosting of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 is good for all Arab countries that aspire in the future to host similar international tournaments, adding that it is a great honor for the participating Arab teams to compete on Arab land with the support of Arab fans. He also pointed out that the tournament united the Arab peoples, who always express their pride in this unprecedented Arab achievement, adding that Arabs are proud of the work that Qatar has done to succeed in winning the bet in a well-deserved manner, even before the date of this awaited tournament, which enhances the position of the Arab peoples in the world.
