HE the Minister of Finance and National Economy meets the External Relations Minister of the Bailiwick of Jersey

Washington, Oct. 19 (BNA): The Minister of Finance and National Economy, HE Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, today met with the External Relations Minister of the Bailiwick of Jersey, Senator Ian Gorst, on the sidelines of HE the Minister’s participation in the Annual Meetings of the Boards of Governors of the World Bank Group (WBG) and the International Monetary Fund (IMF) in Washington, D.C. During the meeting, HE Shaikh Salman highlighted the steady growth of relations between Bahrain and Jersey across various fields and stressed the importance of further enhancing ties. HE Shaikh Salman underscored the Kingdom’s commitment to further develop its economic and investment cooperation across the world, noting that the Kingdom’s strategic location, unique business friendly environment and sophisticated regulatory framework continues to attract international investors and projects. The meeting provided an opportunity to discuss developments and views on the world economy, as well as ways to further enhance economic and financial cooperation.
