HE the Minister of Finance and National Economy meets the Vice President of AIIB

Washington, Oct. 19 (BNA): The Minister of Finance and National Economy, HE Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, today met with the Vice President and Secretary of the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB), Sir Danny Alexander, on the sidelines of HE the Minister’s participation in the Annual Meetings of the Boards of Governors of the World Bank Group (WBG) and the International Monetary Fund (IMF) in Washington, D.C. During the meeting, HE Shaikh Salman highlighted the Kingdom’s unique business environment, which has had a pivotal impact on its economic position and ability to attract international investment. HE the Minister noted that the continued growth of the Kingdom’s economy reflects the country’s solid diversification efforts. HE Shaikh Salman and Sir Alexander further reviewed the latest financial developments of the world economy.
