Health cooperation with South Korea discussed

Manama, Sep. 8 (BNA): Health Minister Faeqa bint Saeed Al Saleh has received the South Korean Ambassador to the Kingdom of Bahrain, Park Ho, wishing him a nice stay in Bahrain and success in the duties of his mission. The minister briefed the ambassador about the Bahrain's healthcare sector and the Health Insurance Scheme under the supervision of the Supreme Council for Health. The minister cited the Visiting Doctors' Programme which brings in medical experts from all over the world to treat patients inside the Kingdom. She expressed the ministry's aspiration to host medical specialists from South Korea. The ambassador welcomed that, affirming the availability of many opportunities which can be invested to boost the health cooperation between the two countries. The minister expressed gratitude and appreciation to the ambassador for visiting her at the Ministry of Health (MoH) who in turn expressed his gratitude and appreciation to the minister for the hospitable welcoming reception.
