Health, medical investment opportunities discussed

Manama, Apr 24 (BNA): The National Authority for the Regulation of Medical Professions and Health Services' Chief Executive Dr. Maryam Al-Jalahma, today received a Russian delegation of government and private sector. Broadening cooperation and investment opportunities in medical and health fields available for the Russian private sector were discussed. Dr. Al-Jalahma underlined Bahrain's interest in consolidating government-private sector partnership to promote the provision of health services through stimulating medical tourism and investment in the health sector. She pointed the strong infrastructure available in Bahrain and the government's keenness to reinforce Bahrain's reputation as a medical tourism destination in the region. Dr. Al-Jalahma briefed the delegation on the medical and health investment opportunities available, as well as the suitable operational cost and the availability of the qualified health and medical workforce.
