Health Minister receives WHO regional expert

Manama, Oct. 30 (BNA): Health Minister Faeqa bint Saeed Al Saleh today received Dr. Samar Al-Faki of the WOH Eastern Mediterranean Region Office on the sidelines of her field visit to evaluate the Health City project being implemented in Um-Al-Hassam, Capital Governorate. Final stages of the Health City project and evaluation results were discussed. The minister praised the cooperation between the two sides in support of projects and initiatives that promote health of individuals. The minister lauded the contribution of Capital Governor Hisham bin Abdulrahman Al Khalifa to achieve health projects, which embodies cooperation between the Capital Governorate and government bodies. Dr. Al-Faki welcomed the effort of the Ministry and Governorate to accomplish the project, commending the level of public health services.
