Helicopter Crash In North India Kills Seven People

NEW DELHI, Oct 18 (Bernama) -- A helicopter crash in northern India killed seven people on Tuesday. Six pilgrims and a pilot were aboard the helicopter that crashed around noon after taking off from the Kedarnath shrine in Uttarakhand state. The pilgrims were from the states of Tamil Nadu and Gujarat, according to a police statement. The chopper was a Bell-407 operated by New Delhi-based Aryan Aviation company, local media reported. India's Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) has ordered a probe into the crash. -- BERNAMA
