HH the Amir of Qatar Holds Phone Call with President of Ukraine

Doha, October 10 (QNA) - HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani held Monday a telephone conversation with HE Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy. During the phone call, they discussed the latest developments on the Ukrainian arena, especially with regards to the crisis with Russia and the need to end it through dialogue and diplomatic means. HH the Amir, during the call, called again on all parties to exercise restraint, resolve the dispute through dialogue and diplomatic methods, settle international disputes by peaceful means, and not to take any action that would lead to further escalation. His Highness also renewed the State of Qatar's stance calling for the need to respect Ukraine's sovereignty and territorial integrity within its internationally recognized borders, and to adhere to the United Nations Charter and the well-established principles of international law, including obligations under the Charter to settle international disputes by peaceful means.
