HH National Guard Commander meets Pakistan's Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee Chairman

Islamabad, Mar. 22 (BNA): National Guard Commander, General His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Isa Al Khalifa, today met the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee in Pakistan, General Nadeem Raza, at the Joint Staff Headquarters in Rawalpindi. The meeting is on the sidelines of HH Shaikh Mohammed bin Isa’s official visit to brotherly Pakistan. Upon arrival at the General Headquarters of the Pakistani Army, the National Guard Commander was welcomed by the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee and a number of Pakistani military commanders. The national anthems of Bahrain and Pakistan were played, and then HH Shaikh Mohammed bin Isa inspected the Guard of Honour, whose members lined up to saluted HH. The Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee welcomed HH National Guard Commander’s visit to Pakistan, noting that it is within the framework of efforts to enhance the Bahraini-Pakistani military relations. HH Shaikh Mohammed bin Isa lauded the advanced level of reached by military cooperation between the two countries, praising the role played by the Pakistani Army in supporting regional security and stability. The two sides discussed issues of mutual interest. They also reviewed the progress of the ongoing Bahraini-Pakistani friendship and cooperation relations at all levels, particularly in the military field.
