HH Shaikh Khalid receives Boeing Aerospace official

Manama, Oct. 17 (BNA): Commander of the Royal Guard’s Special Force, Major HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, has lauded the efforts exerted by Boeing Aerospace Middle East Limited Company to support air defences with advanced technology that contributes to achieving the aspirations and goals of air forces and reflect positively on their performance. This came as HH Shaikh Khalid received Boeing’s Director of Global Sales and Marketing, Defense, Space and Security, Brian Long, on the sidelines of the Bahrain International Defence Exhibition and Conference (BIDEC 2017), held under the auspices of Hi s Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the Supreme Commander. HH Shaikh Khalid highlighted the importance of such meetings in opening up broader horizons of fruitful cooperation with advanced military sectors in various countries for the sake of enhancing the kingdom’s defence systems, especially air defence, and developing the military potentials and readiness of BDF’s personnel, stressing that efforts will continue in order to achieve the preset goals. HH Shaikh Khalid exchanged cordial talks with Brian Long on BIDEC 2017, hailing the distinguished level of the exhibited military items. Brian Long lauded the BIDEC’s outstanding organisation, and the exhibited modern equipment, noting that international exhibitions provide an opportunity for being informed about the latest developments, exchanging expertise and building partnerships among all sides. He valued highly the outstanding efforts exerted by the organisers of BIDEC which he described as a leading international event.
