HH Shaikh Nasser receives BIDEC participants

Manama, Oct. 16 (BNA): Royal Guard Commander and Chairman of the High Organising Committee of the Bahrain International Defence Exhibition and Conference (BIDEC), Brigadier-General HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa received here today, in the presence of the Royal Guard’s Special Force Commander, Major HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, a number of military officials and chief of staff, who are participating in BIDEC 2017. HH Shaikh Nasser also received the UK Ambassador to Bahrain. The Royal Guard Commander exchanged cordial talks with BIDC participants, stressing that BIDEC, being the first integrated international event of its kind in the region, includes land, air and marine defence tools, and provides a venue for experts, specialists and representatives of mega defence equipment companies to meet under one roof. BIDEC is a platform for mega companies to showcase the latest defence and military systems, and provides an opportunity for government military sides to be informed about the most up-to-date defence technology equipment. The military officials lauded the high level of BIDC, as well as advanced military equipment showcased by exhibiting companies.
