HH Southern Governor highlights community partnership

Manama, Feb. 19 (BNA): HH Southern Governor has attended the Governorate’s celebration to mark the success of the Japanese Village project. HH the Governor praised the cooperation between the Governorate and sponsors, which accentuates the community partnership between government and private sectors. He said the partnership reflects contribution to promoting small projects in various fields. Director of Social Programmes and Community Affairs, Fatima bin Hassan Al Ghatam, in her speech, said the Japanese Village project had provided the opportunity for more than 80 young Bahrainis’ small and medium projects to showcase their products and skills for more than 31,000 visitors. HH the Governor honoured those who contributed to the success of the Japanese Village project, consequently highlighting the Governorate’s role in holding international cultural events.
