Higher Education Council Secretary-General praises Bahrain's efforts to support, empower youth

Manama, Mar. 25 (BNA): Secretary-General of the Higher Education Council and Deputy Chairperson of its Board of Trustees, Dr. Shaikha Rana bint Isa bin Duaij Al Khalifa, has lauded His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa’s constant directives to support Bahraini youth, being the leaders of the future. She also commended the tremendous efforts exerted by the government, led by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, to empower Bahraini youth, out of HRH’s belief in their ability to enhance the kingdom’s development march. Dr. Shaikha Rana affirmed that the Bahraini Youth Day is an opportunity to celebrate the kingdom’s pioneering experience in developing and empowering youngsters, becoming a role model in launching initiatives that have enhanced youth’s creativity, innovation and achievements. She paid tribute to HM the King’s Representative for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs, HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, and First Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, Chairman of the General Sports Authority and President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee, HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, for their unwavering efforts to encourage and empower Bahraini youth competencies. Dr. Shaikha Rana pointed out that the Higher Education Council seeks to establish a national approach aimed at highlighting Bahraini youth competencies and developing their potentials, through the goals of its national strategy that support youth development through the provision of the necessary opportunities for them to be creative and distinguished across various fields.
