Higher Education Secretary-General receives Indian ambassador

Manama, Feb. 2 (BNA): Secretary-General of the Higher Education Council (HEC) and Vice-Chairperson of its Board of Trustees Dr. Shaikha Rana bint Isa bin Daij Al Khalifa received Indian Ambassador to Bahrain Piyush Srivastava. The secretary general praised the distinguished Bahraini-Indian relations and the progress witnessed at various levels. She affirmed the council's keenness to develop educational and research cooperation in a way that supports the educational process and serves efforts to achieve sustainable development in the two countries. The ambassador expressed his appreciation for the council’s role and efforts in promoting higher education and providing all that is needed to encourage investment in higher education.
