His Majesty arrives in Jeddah for talks with Saudi King

Jeddah, Sept. 23 (BNA): His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa arrived today in Saudi Arabia on a fraternal visit during which His Majesty meets with Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud. His Majesty will hold talks with the Saudi King focusing on the close fraternal ties in addition to latest regional and international developments. His Majesty the King was received at the King Abdulaziz International Airport by His Royal Highness Prince Khalid Al Faisal Advisor of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and Governor of Makkah Region, Shaikh Humood bin Abdullah Al Khalifa Ambassador of Bahrain to Saudi Arabia, Saleh bin Ali Al Turki Governor of Jeddah, and Ibrahim Al Mussallamani, Consul General of Bahrain in Jeddah. His Majesty delivered the following statement: (We are glad to arrive in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, to meet with our brother Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the King of Saudi Arabia may Allah preserve him, to discuss latest reginal and international developments witnessed in the region and the challenges it is facing, in order to continue the ongoing coordination and consultation between us in everything in the interest of both our countries and peoples and the interest of our brotherly peoples. We are also glad to express our congratulations to Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and His Royal Highness the Crown Prince on Saudi Arabia’s National Day, asking the Almighty to perpetuate for Kingdom’s and its brotherly people security, elevation, progress and prosperity under his wise leadership. On this occasion we reiterate the Kingdom of Bahrain’s solidarity and full supportive stance with the sisterly Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in confronting any attempt to affect its security and stability, and Bahrain’s absolute support to all the steps and measures it takes to protect its institutions and defend its interests and maintain the safety of its citizens and residents on its territory, reiterating our condemnation and denunciation of the terrorist act of sabotage which targeted two of Aramco plants in Abqaiq and Hajira Khurais province aimed to destabilize the security, stability and peace in the region. We also reiterate that the Kingdom of Bahrain permanently stands in the same rank and trench with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia emanating from its belief in the shared goal and destination, and that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s security is inseparable part of the Kingdom of Bahrain’s security, reaffirming that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is the key pillar of the region’s security and stability and its safety vale in confronting the risks and threats to which its subjected, and at the same time valuing the pivotal role of the grand sister in fighting terrorism and boosting regional and international security and stability. The targeting of two Aramco plants in Abqaiq and Khurais by means of Iranian weapons was not an attack on the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia alone but on the world through the targeting of energy supplies to international markets. We supplicate unto Allah the Almighty to preserve the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and its brotherly people and perpetuate its security, safety and prosperity to continue the growth, progress, and development march under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and His Royal Highness Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz.) His Majesty the King had left Bahrain heading to Jeddah in Saudi Arabia.
