His Majesty, Premier, Crown Prince congratulated by SCIA

Manama, Dec. 10(BNAA): The Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs (SCIA) congratulated His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister on the occasion of the Kingdom of Bahrain National Days celebrations marking the anniversary of the establishment of the modern State of Bahrain by its founder Ahmed Al Fateh as an Arab and Muslim country in 1783, the Anniversary of its Accession to the United Nations as a full member and the Accession Anniversary of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa to the Throne. This came as the council held its regular meeting on Tuesday chaired by Shaikh Abdulrahman bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Khalifa, President of the Supreme Council of Islamic Affairs, who expressed his best wishes to the Kingdom's people in lasting unity, amity, harmony, prosperity and welfare under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa. The council also congratulated HM the King, HRH the Premier and HRH the Crown Prince, on the historic achievement of the Bahrain national football team winning the 24th Arabian Gulf Football Cup. Citing Commemoration Day, the council praised the role of Bahrain's fallen servicemen in the line of duty to preserve the nation's security, stability, progress and prosperity. The council welcomed the visit of Shaikh Talgat Safich Tadzhuddin, the General Mufti of the Russian Federation and Head of Russia's Central Muslim Religious Administration, praising his efforts in serving religion and promoting the values of peace, goodwill and virtue. The council congratulated on the occasion of opening the mosque of the late Shaikh Khalid bin Ali Al Khalifa in Sitra built at the directive of the late Shaikh Abdullah bin Khalid Al Khalifa to serve the neighborhood. The council praised Bahrain's vast atmospheres of tolerance, coexistence and religious freedoms. The council hailed the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) progress in harmony with the visions of Their Majesties and Highnesses the GCC leaders, wishing them success in boosting the cooperation to serve the brotherly GCC Member States and peoples. The council welcomed Bahrain's hosting the Interfaith Round-table in the Middle East and North Africa region organized by the King Hamad Center for Peaceful Coexistence with the participation of more than 60 decision-makers, economists, entrepreneurs, clergymen and representatives of religious institutions from the region and globally. The council discussed items on its meeting agenda including proposed law, reports, and legal opinions.
