HM King’s Arab Summit speech hailed

Manama, Apr.15 (BNA) Shura Council Chairman Ali bin Saleh Al-Saleh hailed the speech delivered by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa at the 29th Arab Summit in Saudi Arabia. "HM the King’s address outlined Bahrain’s stance regarding the regional and international challenges facing the Arab Nation", he said, citing particularly blatant external interference in the internal affairs of Arab countries. He commended HM the King’s keenness on bolstering Arab unity to maintain the security and stability of Arab countries and enable them to stave off foreign interference in the internal affairs of some Arab countries. Al-Saleh hailed the unwavering stance expressed by HM the King in support of the Palestinian people’s inalienable right to establish its viable, independent and sovereign state within the 4th June 1967 borders, with East Jerusalem as its capital, on the basis of the two-state solution, the Arab Peace Initiative and the international resolutions. He paid tribute to HM the King who hailed the 1st Joint Gulf Military Drill being held in Saudi Arabia, with the participation of several armed forces, including the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF).
