HM King; Abu Dhabi Crown Prince, discuss fraternal relations

Manama, Apr.14 (BNA): His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and Abu Dhabi Crown Prince and UAE Armed Forces Deputy Supreme Commander His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan discussed bilateral relations and ways of developing joint cooperation across all field to serve common interests. During the meeting which was held at Sakhir Palace, HM the King welcomed HH Shaikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, wishing him good health and happiness and the UAE and its people further progress and prosperity. The two leaders exchanged greetings on the holy month of Ramadan, wishing their countries and peoples progress and prosperity, the Arab and Islamic nations and all people in the world stability and wellbeing. They held cordial and fraternal talks that reflect deep-rooted historic relations binding the Kingdom of Bahrain and the United Arab Emirates, stressing mutual keenness on further strengthening ties to serves their common interests and meet their aspirations of development and progress HM the King and HH Shaikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan also reviewed Gulf and Arab issues as well as regional and international developments. HM the King took pride in strong fraternal relations binding the Kingdom of Bahrain and the United Arab Emirates, reflected in joint stances towards different issues, thus following in the steps of fathers and forefathers. HM the King hailed the UAE unwavering support to Bahrain and its people at different stages, appreciating its stances in support of the Kingdom at all levels. The two leaders stressed the importance of further development joint economic, trade and investment cooperation, underling the necessity of building on achievements and expanding cooperation between the private sectors in both countries in vital sectors with economic returns. They also stressed the importance of exploring opportunities to develop joint cooperation in the fields of technology, science, energy, renewable energy, environment, health and education to meet their common aspirations and goals. They affirmed support for joint Gulf action, within the GCC’s march, to confront various current challenges, based on the unity of history, goal and a common destiny. in order to achieve progress and prosperity for the citizens of the GCC countries. They also stressed the importance of Arab unity and concerted efforts to achieve Arab solidarity and enhance the process of joint Arab action to meet the aspirations of Arab peoples to achieve security, stability and prosperity. HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa recited a poem on this occasion.
