HM King confers Bahrain Medal of First Class on Bassiouni

Manama, May 9 (BNA): Professor Mahmood. Cherif Bassiouni has expressed gratitude and pride for the honour of being bestowed the Bahrain Medal of the First Class by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa. The Kingdom of Bahrain has been able, thanks to the leadership of HM the King, to deal with the events of 2011 wisely and aptly, which reflects an outstanding royal vision and a supportive popular willpower that seek to elevate the status of the Kingdom. Professor Bassiouni stated that the implementation of the recommendations has been within the context of sincere efforts by all those who were keen on the security, stability and development of Bahrain. He added that he was delighted to be among those who contributed to the implementation. Professor Bassiouni expressed thanks to His Majesty the King for the special honour, wishing HM and the people of Bahrain success and prosperity under the ongoing reform project launched by His Majesty the King.
