HM King congratulated by Shura chairman

Manama, Feb. 26 (BNA): Shura Council Chairman, Ali bin Saleh Al Saleh, has extended warmest congratulations to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa on being conferred the Arab Tourism Medal - Excellent Class, the highest distinction bestowed to kings, princes and presidents. The prestigious medal was bestowed on HM the King by the Arab Tourism Organisation (ATO) in recognition of his support to the sector of tourism in Bahrain, the designation of Manama as Capital of Arab Tourism 2013 and support for ATO’s goals and plans since its establishment. Such an honourable medal was also conferred on HM King Hamad in appreciation of the kingdom and its outstanding efforts to boost the tourism sector in order to increase its contributions to the national economy, in addition to Bahrain’s good reputation in this regard, the Shura chairman said. Al-Saleh prayed to Allah the Almighty to bless HM the King with abundant health and happiness, and to guide him on the right path for the best interests of Bahrain and its people.
