HM King congratulated on sports strides

Manama, Oct.27 (BNA): His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa received a cable of congratulations from Bahrain’s Ambassador to the United Kingdom Shaikh Fawaz bin Mohammed Al-Khalifa, on Bahrain military football team winning the gold medal in the World Military Games in China and the victory and qualification of the national handball team to the World Olympic Games (Tokyo 2020) in Japan. The ambassador hailed the landmark sports achievements which represent a source of pride for the Kingdom of Bahrain and its people, hailing royal keenness on promoting young competent and creative cadres in the sports and developmental sectors, being the cornerstone of the reform project. He prayed to Allah the Almighty to bless HM the King to continue leading the nation.
