HM King congratulates Bahrainis, residents on Eid Al Fitr

Manama, May 27 (BNA): Bahrainis and residents have received a text message from His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa wishing them a blessed Eid. The message included a link to a video of HM King Hamad expressing his best wishes. “On the occasion of the blessed Eid Al Fitr, we send to all of you our congratulations, praying to All Almighty to bless you with health and wellness, wishing you a blessed Eid,” HM King Hamad said in the SMS received on mobiles. “Inshallah you will celebrate Eid on several future occasions. May you be every year in good health. Thank you.” Citizens and residents have expressed pride and delight with the cordial and affectionate gesture. Ministries and public institutions responded with expressions of thanks and gratitude while various Gulf and Arab news sites and social media platforms reported citizens' elated reactions to the royal message. More than 50 million views of the video have been registered across the media platforms that included Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat, Facebook and WhatsApp. Several Gulf and Arab social media accounts joined in the festive mood and lauded HM the King's paternal sentiments that touched warmly the hearts of all people in Bahrain and beyond in light of the coronavirus pandemic affecting the whole world.
