HM King congratulates BCCI newly-elected board

Manama, Mar. 22 (BNA): His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa sent a cable of congratulations to Sameer Abdulla Nass on his election as Chairman of Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry, wishing him success to continue the Chamber’s effective role in spurring the Kingdom’s economic activities and growth. HM the King also congratulated the winning board members, wishing them success and praised the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI)’s successful, transparent, free and fair elections as well as the vast electoral participation. HM the King praised the Chamber’s key achievements since its foundation more than seventy-five years ago, citing the BCCI's pioneering role in serving the mercantile progress in Bahrain and boosting its economic status on the regional and international map. HM the King affirmed that the Chamber is deemed a vital and effective partner in the comprehensive revitalization process thanks to the private sector’s continual efforts in supporting the construction and development process that serve the national march and boost the national economy’s competitive capability at the international level. HM the King took pride in the role of Bahraini traders and businesspeople who took upon their shoulders to serve this vital sector and develop its performance following in the steps of their predecessors who founded the ancient trade movement and contributed in building Bahrain’s renaissance throughout history.
