HM King congratulates Egyptian president

Manama, Apr.2 (BNA): His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa held a phone call with Egyptian President Abdul Fattah El-Sisi following his victory in the presidential elections. HM the King expressed deepest congratulations to President El-Sisi on his re-election, wishing him success to achieve further progress and prosperity for the Egyptian people and ensure his country continues playing its strategic and pioneering role in the region and champion Arab and Islamic causes. "The Kingdom of Bahrain will always support the Republic of Egypt and its people in all circumstances", he said, looking forward to strengthening solid historic relations between the two brotherly countries and peoples.
