HM King congratulates French president on World Cup

Manama, July 15 (BNA): His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa sent a cable of congratulations to French President Emmanuel Macron marking his country’s victory in the final of the World Cup 2018, which concluded this evening in Russia. HM the King extended sincerest congratulations to President Macron, hailing the outstanding performance of the French team, which enabled their country to win the world trophy for the second time in its history. He wished the French team every success in the upcoming championships and sports competitions.
