HM King hails Bahrainis’ dedication

Manama, Aug.16 (BNA): His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa today received, at Al-Safriya Palace, Royal Guard Commander Brigadier His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al-Khalifa, who introduced Lieutenant Abdulla Al-Sayyed Ateya, who graduated at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst, in the UK, with merit. Lieut. Ateya was conferred the Sword of Honour Award, the Award of Military and Academic Excellence and the Award of Sport Excellence, in an unprecedented achievement in the history of the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst. HM the King congratulated Lieut. Ateya on his graduation from the renowned academy and on his honourable achievement for his country thanks to his resolve, competence and excellence in this military course. HM the King took pride in the dedication and keenness of Bahrainis to excel in their academic and military studies, hailing their spirit of determination and resolve to achieve and honour the nation in all fields. He hailed the reputation of the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst and commended its advanced programmes and curricula, praising strong bilateral relations and mutual keenness on shared interests. HM the King conferred the Proficiency Order on Lieut. Ateya in recognition of his dedicated efforts and honourable results, wishing him every success to serve his country and society.
