HM the King holds meeting with Abu Dhabi Crown Prince

Manama, Mar. 20 (BNA): His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa was at the forefront of those who welcomed the Abu Dhabi Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces HH Shaikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al-Nahyan, who arrived here today on a brotherly visit to the Kingdom. His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister, also welcomed the Abu Dhabi Crown Prince. HM King Hamad held a meeting with HH Shaikh Mohammed bin Zayed, in the presence of HRH the Crown Prince, Deputy Chairman of Abu Dhabi Executive Council Sheikh Hazza bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan Charitable and Humanitarian Foundation Shaikh Nahyan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Premier Shaikh Saif binZayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Premier and Presidential Affairs Minister Shaikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Undersecretary of the Abu Dhabi Crown Prince's Court Mohamed Mubarak Al Mazrouei. HM the King welcomed Shaikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al-Nahyan, and reviewed with him the deep-rooted fraternal Bahraini-UAE relations, and ways to enhance them in various fields for the best interests of the two countries and their brotherly peoples. HM King Hamad and the Abdu Dhabi Crown Prince affirmed the importance of enhancing joint cooperation within the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), as the best means to boost joint GCC action, achieve progress and prosperity for GCC peoples and confront the current challenges, in line with the common history and common destiny shared by GCC states. HM King Hamad discussed with Shaikh Mohammed bin Zayed the latest regional and global development, as well as issues of common interest. HM the King then hosted a lunch banquet in honour of HH Shaikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al-Nahyan and his accompanying delegation.
