HM the King issues three decrees

Manama, July 3 (BNA): His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa today issued Royal Decree 57/2016.
According to the decree, the Informatics and e-Government Authority, established as per decree 69/2015, will be affiliated with the Ministry of Interior.
The royal decree also organised the Informatics and e-Government Authority as follows:
The Chief Executive Officer –with the rank of Undersecretary- will be responsible for the Directorate of Communication and Marketing, the Directorate of Human and Financial Resources and the Directorate of Strategic Planning and Projects.
The Operations Directorate, the Support and Maintenance of Government Systems Directorate, the Governance and Institutional Structure Directorate and the Geogragraphic Information Systems Directorate will report to the Deputy CEO for Operations and Governance, who is under the rank of Assistant Undersecretary.
The Deputy CEO for Electronic Transformation –with the rank of Assistant Undersecretary- will oversee the Transformation and Re-engineering of Electronic Procedures Directorate, the Electronic Services and Channels Development Directorate and the Government Systems Development Directorate.
The Population and Demographic Statistics Directorate, the Economic Statistics Directorate and the Identity Card and Population Registry Directorate will report to the Deputy CEO for Statistics and Population Registry, who is with the rank of Assistant Undersecretary.
The Deputy CEO for Information Security and Radio Communications, with the rank of Assistant Undersecretary, will be responsible for the Information Security Services Directorate, the Emergency Cases Directorate and the Wireless Licenses and Frequencies and Control Directorate.
Every text contradicting the provisions of this decree will be cancelled.
The Prime Minister and the relevant ministers shall implement the royal decree which takes immediate effect and will be published in the Official Gazette.
HM King Hamad also issued Royal Decree 58/2016, re-structuring the Secretariat-General of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sport.
Under the decree, the Secretary-General of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sport will oversee the Directorate of Planning, Policies and Follow-up and the Directorate of Resources and Services.
Decree 2/2011 will be abrogated.
The Prime Minister shall implement the royal decree which takes immediate effect and will be published in the Official Gazette.
HM the King also issued Royal Decree 59/2016, appointing Abdulrahman Sadiq Askar as Secretary-General of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sport with the rank of Undersecretary.
The Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sport and President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee shall implement the royal decree which takes immediate effect and will be published in the Official Gazette.
