HM the King leaves Saudi Arabia

Riyadh, June 1 (BNA): His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa left Saudi Arabia today after leading the kingdom's delegation to the 16th Consultative Meeting of the Supreme Council of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC). HM King Hamad sent a cable of thanks to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud. HM the King expressed profound thanks and gratitude to King Salman and the Saudi government and people for the gracious welcome and hospitality accorded to him, which, he said, reflects the depth of the outstanding relations binding the two countries and their brotherly peoples. HM King Hamad voiced delight at participating in the GCC Consultative Meeting, and exchanging opinions with other GCC leaders on ways to achieve more solidarity, security, stability, progress and prosperity for GCC countries and peoples. HM King Hamad lauded the leading role played by Saudi Arabia in enhancing GCC march, as well as the crucial issues and serious challenges facing the Arab region. HM the King wished Saudi Arabia further progress, prosperity and lasting security and safety, praying to Allah Almighty to bless King Salman with abundant good health and happiness, and guide leaders on the right path to be able to bring about more progress and prosperity to GCC, Arab and Islamic peoples.
