HM King meets international Bahraini referees

Manama, June 2 (BNA): His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa met the two international referees Nawaf Shakrallah and Yasser Telifat who will participate in the 2018 World Football Cup finals in Russia. HM the King lauded the referees’ efforts in their domain to serve their nation, praising their participation for the second time in the World Cup finals and their honourable representation of the Kingdom of Bahrain. He stressed support to them in this representation which upholds the kingdom’s name in major international football events. HM the King affirmed that the national competencies’ representation of Bahrain in international events is a source of happiness and pride as it reflects the kingdom’s richness in qualified competencies who are capable of projecting the kingdom’s name in any field. HM the King commended the unrelenting efforts of the competent parties which enabled the two referees to stand out and be selected for the second time running for the World Cup finals. He wished them every success in their international mission.
