HM King offers condolences to national handball player

Manama, Oct. 27 (BNA): His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa held a telephone call with national handball team player Mahdi Saad who took part in the final against South Korea and contributed to Bahrain’s qualification to the Olympic Games (Tokyo 2020), although he was just informed before the match about his father’s death. HM the King valued the player’s honourable stance which reflected his resolve to pursue his patriotic mission with the national team in this crucial match. He congratulated Mahdi Saad and his teammates on the honorable performance, reiterating his condolences and sympathy on the death of his father, May Allah the Almighty rest his soul in eternal peace.
