HM King receives Fujairah Ruler

Sharm El-Sheikh, Feb. 25 (BNA): His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa received today member of the UAE Supreme Council, Ruler of Fujairah and Head of the UAE delegation to the first Arab-Euro Summit Shaikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al-Sharqi. The meeting was held on the sidelines of HM the King's participation in the summit held at the International Congress Centre, in Sharm El-Sheikh. The Ruler of Fujairah conveyed to HM the King the greetings and best wishes of the UAE President Shaikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum and Abu Dhabi Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces Shaikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan. HM the King asked the Ruler of Fujairah to convey his greetings and best wishes to the UAE President, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai and Abu Dhabi Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces. He welcomed Shaikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al-Sharqi, underlining deep-rooted historical fraternal relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the UAE which are based on sound bases of cooperation and coordination. HM the King lauded the high international status of the UAE and its achievements at all levels thanks to the approach of its wise leadership. He praised the active role of the UAE in defending the GCC, Arab and Islamic issues as well as boosting regional security and stability. He also reviewed with the Ruler of Fujairah issues of common interest as well as issues on the Arab-Euro Summit agenda. Shaikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al-Sharqi commended the tremendous efforts of HM the King to further cement bilateral fraternal ties, stressing the unflinching keenness of the leaderships to further strengthen them.
