HM the King receives letter from Kuwaiti Amir

Manama, Mar. 16 (BNA): His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa has received a written message from the Kuwaiti Amir HH Shaikh Sabah Al-Ahmed Al-Jaber Al-Sabah pertaining to the deep-rooted fraternal bilateral relations and ways to bolster them in various fields, as well as issues of common interest. This came as HM King Hamad received at the Gudaibiya Palace today the Kuwaiti Amir's Special Envoy, Deputy Premier and Interior Minister Shaikh Mohammed Al-Khalid Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, who handed over to him the letter. The Kuwaiti deputy premier conveyed to HM the King greetings from the Kuwaiti Amir and his wishes of further progress and prosperity to Bahrain and its people. HM King Hamad welcomed the Kuwaiti deputy premier and requested him to convey his greetings to the Kuwaiti Amir and sincere wishes of further progress and prosperity to the brotherly Kuwaiti people. HM the King expressed pride in the outstanding fraternal Bahraini-Kuwaiti relations, progressing steadily in all fields thanks to the two countries' constant keenness on enhancing cooperation between them for the best interests of their brotherly peoples. HM King Hamad lauded the "pioneering" role played by the Kuwaiti Amir Kuwaiti Amir HH Shaikh Sabah Al-Ahmed Al-Jaber Al-Sabah in enhancing bilateral relations, strengthening unity among GCC countries and serving Arab and Islamic issues and boosting joint Arab action. HM the King stressed the importance of continuous consultation and coordination between the two countries, as the best means to strengthen their ties within the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC). The Kuwaiti Amir's Special Envoy, Deputy Premier and Interior Minister arrived here earlier today, and was welcomed by the Interior Minister Lieutenant-General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa.
