HM King receives letter from Sudanese President

Manama, Aug. 22 (BNA): His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa received a letter from Sudanese President Omar Hassan Al Beshir on strong bilateral fraternal relations and ways of bolstering them, the latest Arab and international developments and issues of common interest. The letter was handed over by Sudanese Presidential Envoy, the Health Minister Bahr Idris Abu Garda who was accompanied by State Minister at the Foreign Ministry Kamal Ismail, at a meeting with HM the King at Safriya Palace today. The Sudanese Presidential Envoy conveyed the greetings of the Sudanese President and his best wishes of more progress and prosperity to Bahrain and its people. HM the King asked the Sudanese Presidential Envoy to convey his greetings to the Sudanese President and his best wishes of further prosperity to the Sudanese people. He commended deep-rooted relations between Bahrain and Sudan and growing cooperation between both countries in various fields. He also stressed Bahrain’s keenness to further consolidate bilateral relations for the common interest of both countries and peoples. The Sudanese Presidential Envoy thanked HM the King for his keenness to further cement ties binding the two brotherly countries, lauding Bahrain’s growth spearheaded by HM the King.
