HM King receives letter from Sudanese President

Manama, Mar. 25 (BNA): His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa received a letter from the President of Sudan, Omar Al Bashir, regarding the distinguished relations between the two countries and people and ways of enhancing them at all levels. The letter was received by Foreign Affairs Minister Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa today during a meeting with the Sudanese Ambassador to the Kingdom of Bahrain, Ibrahim Mohamed Al Hassan Ahmed Saad. The minister expressed his pride and appreciation for the historic relations between Bahrain and the Sudan. He affirmed the Kingdom’s keenness to enhance cooperation in all fields and to strengthen coordination regarding regional and international issues to serve the common interests the two brotherly people. For his part, the Sudanese ambassador expressed the pride of the Republic of the Sudan for its close relations with the Kingdom and the development of cooperation between the two countries in all fields, wishing the Kingdom of Bahrain continued progress and prosperity.
