HM King receives more National Day congratulations

Manama, Dec. 19 (BNA): His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa received more cables of congratulations from the heads of friendly states on the Kingdom's celebrations of its National Day on December 16-17 marking the anniversary of the establishment of the modern state of Bahrain as an Arab and Muslim country in 1783 by its founder Ahmed Al-Fateh, the 46th Anniversary of its accession to the UN as a full member and the 18th Anniversary of His Majesty the King’s Accession to the Throne. His Majesty the King received congratulations from the following heads of friendly states: 1- Italian President Sergio Mattarella. 2- Swiss Confederation President Doris Leuthard. 3- Commonwealth of Australia Governor-General Sir Peter Cosgrove.
