HM King receives new ambassadors' credentials

Manama, Aug. 23 (BNA) – His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa has received credentials of five newly-appointed ambassadors to Bahrain.
During special ceremonies held at Al-Sakhir Palace, HM the King received the credentials of Ambassadors Ali Abbas, of Kenya, Francisco Montecillo, of the Apostolic Nunciature of the Holy See (Vatican), Tan Bunpa, of the Kingdom of Cambodia, Taher Mohamed Jil, of the Federal Republic of Somalia, and Riitta Swan, of the Republic of Finland.
HM the King welcomed the new envoys, lauding the advanced level of the steadily-growing solid ties between Bahrain and their brotherly and friendly countries.
HM King Hamad wished them every success in assuming their diplomatic duties in order to consolidate their countries' friendship and cooperation relations with the kingdom.
The new ambassadors conveyed to HM the King greetings from their countries' leaderships, and wishes of continuous good health and happiness to him and of further progress and prosperity to Bahrain and its people. They also lauded the strong relations bonding their countries with the kingdom in various fields, wishing those ties further progress.
Personal Representative to HM the King, Royal Court Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Chief of the Royal Protocols were also present.
The ambassadors arrived separately at Al-Sakhir Palace where they were officially welcomed by the Royal Protocols Chief.
