HM King receives Palestinian President's Personal Representative

Manama, May 9 (BNA): His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa received at Safriya Palace today Personal Representative of the Palestinian President, Yasser Mahmoud Abbas, in the presence of Palestinian Ambassador to the Kingdom of Bahrain, Taha Mohammed Abdul Qadir. The Palestinian President’s Personal Representative conveyed to HM the King the greetings of Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas and his best wishes of continuous good health and happiness to HM and further growth and prosperity to the Kingdom of Bahrain and its people. HM the King welcomed the Palestinian President’s Personal Representative and asked him to convey his greetings and appreciation to the Palestinian President as well as his best wishes of security, stability and prosperity to the Palestinian people. HM the King reiterated Bahrain’s unwavering stance in supporting the Palestinian cause and all endeavours to achieve just and comprehensive peace in the region. He also underscored the kingdom’s support to the right of the Palestinian people to establish their independent state according to the two-state solution and the resolutions of the international legitimacy so as to achieve stability and prosperity to all peoples in the region.
