HM King receives Speaker, Shura Chairman

Manama, Apr. 9 (BNA): His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa received at Sakhir Palace today the Speaker of the Representatives Council and Shura Council Chairman and discussed with them legal matters pertaining to the Shura and Representatives Councils which aim to serve the national interest. HM the King lauded the outstanding national efforts of the Shura and Representatives Councils to achieve citizens' aspirations and develop the legislative and monitoring work. He also praised the councils' role in serving citizens and protecting their rights which are included in the National Action Charter that was approved by all the Bahraini people as a roadmap for reform and graded development.
